Friendly, gorgeous Cottages

Aug 13, 2013 by Charlene Ciantar

We were a group of 26 that stayed at 4 cottages at Penrhadw Farm, we stayed for 4 days as the KOV 2013 races where only 23 minutes away by car. We were all very happy with the homely, gorgeous cottages which had the most comfortable beds. Breakfasts every morning were a filling tasty treat and kept us going for a good day at the races. We used to eat very early in the morning and the family at Penrhadw Farm were so friendly, kind and always helpful. The interior of the cottages is equipped totally and you will need nothing more. Fresh towels, a general clean and made up beds every day were a bonus to us after a long day at the races. The Welsh country side is an absolute gem. We will visit you again. Thank you so much for ensuring our stay was lovely. Kind regards Charlene from Malta.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this hotel. We had a beautiful and very spacious room. The breakfast was outstanding with a huge variety of cereals, jams, fruits, etc., and the full Welsh breakfast was unforgettable. The staff were very welcoming,
kind and nothing was too much trouble for them! Hearty thanks for everything! Janine Peels, The Netherlands

Superb in every way

Jun 11, 2013 by Marcin Margol

It is probably the best hotel I have been to in last couple of years. We had one of the cottages overlooking the hills (sleeps 6). Our accommodation was beautifully appointed, inkeeping with the character of the place. Almost a steal for the price.

Excellent local pub is just down the road. We were simply immersed in beautiful Welsh countryside.

Breakfast on Sunday morning was something else. Great choice of home-made jams, cakes, locally made cheeses, sundries, cereal. All that was accompanied by cooked breakfast to die for.

The service is impeccable. Four ladies who run the place are friendly and fun to talk to. I could spend weeks there and would come back for more. If you go to Penrhadw Farm, you will definitely fall in love with Wales.

2 nights in late May

May 28, 2013 by Toshimi Akao

2 families (2 adults and one boy and 2 adults and 2 girls) stayed 2 nights in the cottage with 2 single rooms and 2 double rooms ( one is ensuit) and one extra bed in late May13. All rooms were good sized, very decent and clean. It also had a very nice open plant kitchen and dining room with fully furnished, and a lovely living room with a chimney. It was a very family-like cottage and kids could play outside of the cottage as there were some very cute baby lamb and sheep nearby. A lot of amenities are around and a very convenient place for families with kids to go to a steam train railway, horse riding, and to see a stunning view and to have a walk in the national park. Staff were very welcoming and very kind. It's really highly recommended.

Outstanding, very impressed

Fifteen of us (5 Kids and 10 Adults and the dog) rented the 2 cottages next to the B&B for 2 nights in Apr 13 for a family get together. It was absolutely brilliant. The cottages are large and very clean; they have loads of practical amenities. They were lovely and warm as it was a very cold part of the year. We had the breakfast included which was outstanding. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was to much trouble for them. We thought it was really good value. We plan to go again next year.
